February 3, 2013 - This was excellent. Interesting contrasts on the nose, with aromas of dark fruit (black cherry, blackberry) intermingling with a citrus, grapefruit note, as well as a flinty mineral edge. On the palate, more of the same contrast, with black cherry and grapefruit. Spicy finish ends a touch hot, but not enough to detract from the overall experience. Nice.
