November 25, 2011 - Crystalline ruby color. Raspberry, rose and forest floor aroma. Rich, ripe black cherry and muted cola flavors on the palate but with just a twinge of bitter astringency on an otherwise nice long finish.

November 18, 2011 - A really wonderful wine with exceptional qualities. Beautiful color in the glass. The wine opened up nicely after being uncorked for about 2hrs. Ripe fruit on the nose with a just a faint hint of earthiness to balance it out. On the palate developed flavors of ripe cherry, cola, and perhaps a hint of licorice on the finish.

March 4, 2009 - On the nose there are scents of red fruit and wet green vegetation that reminded me of walking through the forrest after a spring rain shower. Bark and alcohol surrounded this with an underlying layer of Arrogant bastard ale of stone cellars. On the pallat bright red fruits exploded into a strong tannic finish that lasted for 15+ seconds. This wine is far too young to be consumed now and the alcohol is a little too much for my pallate. After all said, i truly enjoyed this exceptional bottle of wine.

March 2, 2009 - "Snowed In" in Maine (slave2thevine's house): Showing a beautiful ruby color in the glass with scents of forest floor, bark, roses, cranberries, and wild strawberries this is what I love about Oregon Pinots...the nose. In the mouth there is a twinge of bitterness that reminds me of Arrogant Bastard Ale, leading to lush red fruits and a light heat on the finish that lends itself to it's 14.2% alcohol. While this was fun to drink now, it still needs a few years in the cellar for my palate. We initially tasted this at room temperature, when we brought this wine down to cellar temperature (55 degrees) the heat was masked and the wine became that much more enjoyable.
