February 22, 2024 - Placed in refrigerator for about 30 minutes before drinking. Once popped and poured, the wine is a sort of rusted, maroon color and reveals its cold climate origins. This is a super aromatic wine, giving stereotypical Pinot barnyard funk smells well also have a Notes of toasted caramel, sourdough bread, a little acetone, dried red fruit, and a slight carbonic tinge, though I am not sure if this producer employees that sort of fermentation. On the pallet the wine is bone dry with decent but not overwhelming acidity and mostly savory characteristics like briny green olive and salted red fruit. Almost a pulsard character to this wine. for a 13.5% abv pinot this wine is very well balanced. overall, this wine is very nice and I think will pair lovely with all sorts of food. I am enjoying it with some Thai curry. This wine is ready to be enjoyed now or in the next 3 to 5 years. Overall: 91

October 1, 2022 - Vinøs hyttetur; 9/30/2022-10/1/2022: Blind. Naturvinsaktig, trodde gamay - men så er det altså pinot, kompleks og saftig.
