September 29, 2023 - Tuscany WIMPS 2023 (La Trompette): Interesting skin contact wine from an area i'm not familiar with to the west of Florence.
Very perfumed nose with cologne, crushed stones and over-ripe apples. Richer on the palate with more ripe apple and a hint of spice.
I quite like this general style of wine time-to-time and am partial to producers like Gravner. This isn't on that level but an interesting and enjoyable wine needing the right pairing.
