  Previously have had the 44a which I enjoyed so picked this up. Well made, crisp but not biting extra brut, showing notes of apple, lemon, a steely backbone with hints of bread.

  March 17, 2024 - Women Who Wine & Their Arm Candy (Estelle, St. Paul, MN): Pale straw color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. There's a little fresh air character on the nose that really like, very bright showing apple, floral notes and a pleasant yeastiness with some nice mineral accents. This is a bit lighter in style, so I don't think you'd mistake it for Champagne, but it is well defined and a nice aperitif.

  February 7, 2024 - Nose is apple with some spices.
  
  Dosage is a bit high, but after sitting in the glass for a moment the texture really became beautiful.
  
  Flavor is somewhat aged, like yeast or toast with apple. Very nice.

  November 25, 2023 - The nose has baked apple and cinnamon.There is the slight touch of bread/yeast and spices. The wine is rich on the palate but has enough acidity to stay in balance. Better than I expected.
  About the winery: A true icon from Lombardy. Ca’del Bosco means 'house in the forest'. It is one of Italy's most distinctive wine companies. The story of Ca'del Bosco is an absolute success story. In the 1960s, Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small hut in the forest with a few vineyards on Mount Erbusco in Franciacorta. In sixty years, her son Maurizio transformed this tiny house into an impressive state-of-the-art-winery. In 2002, the winery was declared "Winery of the Year" by the renowned Italian wine guide Gambero Rosso.
