April 5, 2024 - Very interesting wine. On PnP, came out quite precocious and sweet. But with some time in glass, a deeper profile came through, with spice and dark cherry notes. A slightly bitter finish, which lends an attractive complexity to the wine. Medium plus tannins would benefit with some time to soften over the next year or so. As this remains open, it’s really showing off some class! Sweet hints of oak are now showing on the long finish. This should improve over the next 4+ years.

March 15, 2024 - Delicious. Crunchy red fruit and Christmas spice nose. Light-bodied, beautiful ruby colors. Tart cranberry and some ripe strawberry in the mouth with the reappearance of the spice and an undercarriage of damp earth. Sexy and fun to drink. Medium plus acidity carries the finish. I’ll let remaining bottles mature 2 - 4 years.

Some of that nice Pinot twang, tart rhubarb and cranberry on the nose moving to a palate of tart, red fruit. Clean. It does drop off a bit disappointingly on the finish with a faint bitter edge.

May 7, 2023 - Still young. Bright, sweet, concentrated red fruits on the nose. Deep fruits, earthy, a bit of spice flavors, and citrus for the acidity. Soft tannins, but well balanced. Layers of flavors. This wine needs more time before the next bottle. Looking forward to it.
