Community Tasting Notes 2

  • NickBurwood Likes this wine: 90 points

August 22, 2023 - De facto field blend of high altitude pre-phylloxera (stet!) bush vines.
Citrus core with ripe pear nuances and suffused with steel/flinty minerality. Drinks well but with potential to show even better in the short term.
    Now-2026. 90+

November 23, 2022 - Random wines tasted during service (Oinsocent): Potamisi, Aidani plus more varieties, mountainous plot at 600m altitude,>150yo ungrafted bush vines, btl 0145/1010, 13%

The wine shows density in the nose, citrus peel, grapefruit, pear, a touch herbal, lemon leaf acidic notes.
Palate shows high intensity, very fresh, high acidity, rather harsh at this point, feels far warmer than its 13% (could be the serving temp though), medium body, mineral, line, lemon, medium finish
