June 20, 2020 - This was a real surprise - really very good. Colour of burnt caramel to brown. Honey and burnt caramel nose, toffee and some interesting other dimensions: on the one hand melted very milky chocolate, on the other like dried fruit just as boiling water is poured over. Flavour of dried fruit juice, if there was such a thing. Manuka honey, caramel and burnt lemon - like honey and lemon throat pastilles.

It is a very good quality wine. It has a lingering finish and very concentrated flavours. However it could be more complex in the nose.
