February 11, 2022 - Oh my goodness. Alive and most certainly kicking. Verging on golden yellow. Ripe tropical fruit but big and full bodied aroma. Soft mouth entry. hint of preserved lemon, herbal notes. good weight and mouthfeel, long finish. Hint of caramel on the back palate. This is a sauvignon predominant blend - how does it taste still in it's prime at 30 years old? colour me amazed. Faded quickly in the glass.

July 12, 2021 - A private dinner (Restaurant d'Oude Schuur, Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium): Brought by David. Fresh for age, not tired at all, harmonious and well integrated, golden grapes, hint of spice, only very slight vegetal notes, ripe lemon, supple and with good persistence. A lovely surprise.
