  April 24, 2023 - Matured for 9 months in old barrels. Zero Dosage. Aromas of bruised apples, lemon, pear, brioche. Intense, with fresh balanced acidity.

  April 23, 2023 - Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): 100% chard from 4 different villages which I believe are a mix of the Cote de Blancs and some of the Chardonnay that shows up in Montaigne de Reims. 7 years of aging. Barrels are used from the Sauternes region in Bordeaux. No added sugar. This was all spice and cinnamon and kindof a different style of BdB for me but one that was very interesting. I think I might have called it a blend or even a straight Pinot given that spice style. But quite tasty and fun to have our expectations surprised a bit.
