September 5, 2023 - Bordeaux 2022 barrel samples and some additional vintages (Solliden in Stockhom): This wine was less powerful and ripe than many of the other wines from Margaux but instead it was the wine that showed the best freshness. Vanilla and polished fruit
. The last time I had Kirwan was the 1998 but that was not at all the same positve experience.

May 14, 2023 - Bordeaux 2022 en Primeur and some recent vintages: On par with the 2019, also very spicy, even a touch crisper. Great recent progress on this Chateau. Both come recommended, I would make my buying decision whether it will be the 2019 or 2022 dependent on the 2022 EP release price.

May 8, 2023 - Flowers, currants, spice, and espresso form the core of this medium-bodied, fresh, currant-filled fine. The touch of spice at the end adds a nice fresh note in the finish. Drink from 2026-2045. 90-92 Pts.

Medium minus intensity aromas of cedar, sweet spice, dark hued fruits; blackcurrant and berry, bramble. It's quite juicy on the palate with medium plus intensity acidity, fleshy dark hued fruits, plums, a touch lightweight, fresh, a little chalky textured tannins in support. Okay.
