October 24, 2020 - I’ve had this for 10 years. One of my longest holds, and it turned out really well. Dark and brambly, showing no signs of excessive age. All the rough edges are filed off, and it’s a joy to drink. Carries the 13.5 really well - it’s almost glou glou. Started to fade after a few hours.

May 7, 2018 - Definitely ready to drink based on this bottle. Nicely integrated, but maybe a little short of the quality I was expecting. Still, it went down very nicely!

February 19, 2018 - Wow, this bottle was significantly better than recent showings of the 2006 Gauby VV. Opened two hours before dinner and it was really wonderful with notes of cassis and black cherry.

January 29, 2017 - As usual, some VA with this period Gauby VV. Some sous bois peeking out from under it. Some fresh acidity carrying the fruit across the mid-palate in a very enjoyable way. Very fresh finish. This cries out for some lamb. Drinking well now.
