March 9, 2024 - Crisp, bright, and fresh, as well as exotic, the nose exudes fresh, yellow citrus, Granny Smith apples, pear, orange rind, and honeysuckle. The palate follows the nose with its lush, crisp, display of waxy lemons, grapefruits, and tangerines, along with a dab of round to add the right touch of sweetness. Drink from 2024-2037.

February 21, 2024 - maybe 94. Pale yellow color. Lemon, white flowers, a touch of passion fruit and oak. Not much grapefruit. Beautiful wine. Better than a Carbonnieux but not the complexity of Chevalier. Paired well with sea scallops sauteed in butter with mauque choux.

December 7, 2023 - A private Cheval Blanc tasting (Bolomey Wine Imports, Amsterdam, NL): Not decanted. A blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, young vines on sandy soils. Designed to reflect a Loire style rather than Pessac-Léognan, fragrant and floral, subtle Sauvignon Blanc aromas, lovely balance, elegance and freshness, aged in various sizes of oak (including Stockinger demi-muid), nice fat on the palate from the lees stirring, barely any visible oak, very gentle bitters, excellent length. I really like it, and I would suggest drinking it young.
