August 17, 2023 - WSET 2 group tasting (My place, Utrecht, NL): When checked with coravin it seemed everything was ok, but a day later it was very clear this was corked…

October 3, 2022 - Had this last night with roast leg of lamb. Perfect condition , perfect match, perfect representative of Rioja at its finest. I don’t do points; let’s just say it was one of the finest Riojas I’ve had in years.

October 21, 2021 - This was a very pleasant surprise as it's aged beautifully with delicious black fruits and notes of tar and eucalyptus. Full-bodied but resolved of its oak and tannins with a layered finish showing a wonderful slate mineral flavor. While fully mature, it's quite lifted and fresh so should continue to provide pleasure for several more years.

October 16, 2019 - Balsamic, sweet cherry, old wood. Vibrant, lush, plenty of structure here, but clearly late maturity. What was once considered a "modern" styled Rioja has evolved into a wonderful classic. Drink up over the next few years.

June 21, 2018 - Quite mature, forest floor, tobacco, spices. Still fruit left. Quite powerful and long. Ready.
