March 15, 2024 - Walinauten Zoom Tasting with Titerok-Akalet (Home): Wow, really exciting discovery here from Lanzarote.
The bouquet has a lot of white peach, saltiness, exotic herbs and pomelo. On the palate its structured but with a nice creamy mouthfeel, coming from the aging on the lees and some batonnage.
This is a serious wine from those young winemaking couple, made from the autochthon varietal malvasia volcanico.

January 20, 2024 - A treat. Titerok-Akaet means "burning/red mountain", due to how a national park of Lanzarote -- a Canary island -- looks. Super interesting wine, different. Volcanic, balanced, good integration, there's elegance in its slight reserve. Endemic grape, malvasia volcanica. Tropical fruits and herbs. Gold in the glass.
