Despite the warm, hot conditions of 2022, Barthod has masterfully crafted wines that whisper their intensity—subtle, delicate, yet profound. Who else in Burgundy can match this ethereal grace and pristine, absolute pure expression of red fruit? Simply stunning.
  
  TN: This wine features an expressive nose of fine ripe red berries and rhubarb, superb and inviting. Its aromatics are delicate yet intense and powerful. On the palate, it mirrors the nose—superb and very fine, showcasing rhubarb and strawberries in their purest form at its core, accented with touches of spices and minerality. Weightless and soulful, it stands almost singular in its expression of Burgundy. Wow.

  January 19, 2024 - Tasting the 2022s from Ghislaine Barthod. The entire line-up was convincing statement pro purity, elegance and lightness that is for me the epitome of Burgundian reds. Of the 2022, Les Cras stood out in a league of its own.

  A dense and structured, and within the line-up a more masculine wine. Again with stunning purity and elegance. Sweet cherry fruit layered with rhubarb and scented perfume. A fresh palate with great tension.
