March 23, 2024 - Fresh lemon, lime brulee and flint. Wonderful palate weight and presence. Luscious and sweet, clean and energetic. So much wine here and such great length of flavour. A touch of honey development sneaking in.

February 11, 2021 - Excellent and far better than I recall from bottle 5 years ago. AP #11. Lightly honeyed with florals and white peach. Impeccably balanced. This just floats across the palate effortlessly. Great wine.

September 2, 2020 - Dinner at restaurant Alchemist (Copenhagen): A perfect medium dry - medium sweet wine with the most delicate kerosene background. 95+

Tasted blind. Deep golden yellow color. Riesling Auslese, probably Gold capsule. Very ripe fruit, great balance, depth and harmony. For Egon Müller 2007 far to advanced. Bottle was not flawed though. Interestingly from the exact same cellar as my last bottle, but this one was different. When an Egon Müller Auslese is one of the weakest wines of the evening, you know that this evening is special... 93-94

August 3, 2019 - Vacation wines; 7/29/2019-8/3/2019 (South Tirol): Popped and poured, drunk within an hour. AP#07 Wonderful complex and developing nose with ripe apricot, exotic fruit, herbs and slate. I love this perfume. On the palate the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity! Everything is in perfect harmony. The wine has a wonderful density and complexity, without ever being cloying or sticky. Great tension and length. Long, lingering and fruity finish. So joyful to drink at the moment, but with a potential of further improvement for the next two decades! 94-95+

(Egon Müller Scharzhof Riesling Auslese, Mosel) Hints of botrytis emerge from a background of minerality. Incredibly discreet, yet power-packed. An excellent example of an outstanding vintage, capped off by a long finish. Yum. Hot Picks
