August 26, 2023 - Popped and poured. Slightly new world. Pretty light cherry and floral note on the nose. The palate is all ripe cherry liqueur, black tea, and herbal notes. Medium to full bodied, fleshy and expansive with only modest acidity. Not quite delivering on elegance and complexity. Still years to go on this both.

November 26, 2022 - Popped and poured. This is fantastic. The perfume is intoxicating, floral and complex. The wine is medium bodied, balanced, a little new worldy with silky tannins. Bright red cherry, herbs and truffle on the balance. Persistent and long on the finish. Still quite youthful. 2006 continues to be a hit or miss vintage from my experience. This was a clear hit.
