March 18, 2009 - Caroline Wine Shop - Modern vs Traditional (Carolines Wine Shop): (Tasted Blind) Light purple in colour; subtle dusty notes are accompanied by ripe plum and raspberry aromas, along with pronounced toasty oak nuances. The palate reveals a spicy character, with a notable presence of oak extract. It enters the mouth with a dry sensation before notes of sweet strawberry, cherry and spice kick in. Whilst the fruit tannins are soft, the oak is quite prominent, leading to an assertive, almost aggressive toast note - almost workshop wood.

February 6, 2009 - Rousseau / Potel / Prieur Dinner (Knightsbridge): Full ruby red color. Lovely lithe floral red fruit nose. Medium feminine red fruit palate but plenty of structure too. Very nice.
