October 28, 2023 - La Fête du Champagne Gala (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): I served this at the La Fête du Champagne gala alongside the 2001. Ripe black and red cherry with excellent density and persistence. Powerful and still nicely fresh, with some charming evolved notes emerging in the background. Great now with upside.

Lots of fresh dimension and concentration in the mouth. The flavour keeps building long after you swallow - very long finishing. Excellent, just don’t mention the price.
