June 30, 2022 - Dark red color. Dark red fruit, notes of leather on the nose. Soft and gentle on the palate, again dark red fruit with leather and game marks. Spicy. Quite interesting wine, well made, honest Chateauneuf. Years of life left.

May 1, 2016 - Mont Redon lunch (The Hughenden Hotel, Woolahra): (From Magnum) Funky farmyard, biscuit, leather over red berries and cream…farmyard begins to blow off with time. In the mouth it's juicy, again with a touch of sourness like the 10, leather spice, tangy, slightly drying but fine tannins and alcohol warmth. Muted fruit. balanced and nice.
