December 4, 2007 - This has always been a really nice Washington cab. It seems to have plateaud, but it should hold at this level for another 5 years or so. Balanced, complex, classic Washington cab characteristics (in a good way). A great wine from a vintage that I am not a big fan of.

August 28, 2005 - Excellent. Similar to my note from 2003, although I think this wine is now fully mature. There's no rush to drink it, but I don't think it's going to improve further.

I normally love this wine, but this bottle was clearly flawed in some way. It was completely lacking it's usual structure, and it had a sweet/candied nose and flavor that was just not right. Oh well, the next two bottles made up for it...
