June 10, 2014 - This wine was ready to drink as soon as we opened it. Delicious fruit, good structure/chewy, soft tannins. I would be afraid to hold it much longer because I wouldn't want to lose the fruit. Very dark color with quite a bit of sediment. Just a joy to drink with a good steak!

January 2, 2013 - Perfect provenance.
Perfect cork.
No notes taken.
Decanted 30 mins.
Only slight sediment.
Excellent dark '05 color. Decent body.
Delicious. Drank a bit like a 2001 Viader, but without the herb Cab Franc aspect. Nice tannins. Velvety. Layers and layers of nice blackberry, vanilla, cedar, some blueberry, leather, tobacco, and lt. chocolate. Great finish at about 50 seconds.
Similar to a 2000 Arns cab sauv.
Impressive.
