    March 16, 2019 - Short :45 decant.
Dark fruit and cedar. No sharp edges and some secondary flavors of tobacco , lemon peel and prune
A slight bit of cherry tartness on the finish from the Sangiovese

March 9, 2019 - Dernière de 6 bouteille ...et la bonne!
nez sur la cerise, le tabac et le cèdre.
    en bouche: bleuets, cassis, anis.
    Superbe.
À se rappeler: Solaia 15 minimum!

December 22, 2018 - Salty liquorice on the nose, the palate is consistent with the nose and delivers savoury mineral herbs, the aftertaste is sophisticated and long. In a perfect place now but will hold fo years. Definitely one of my favourites in this vertical comprising -04, -01, -00, -99, -98, -97 -95 and -03 vintages.

December 8, 2018 - 2+ hour decant. A very interesting wine. Black fruits up front with red fruits following. Some underbrush and forest floor. 20+ second finish.

(ANTINORI SOLAIA) #2; COLOR-really nice; NOSE-very tight (could be the "Dummy Phase"); TASTE-pure silkiness from beginning to finish (riding the clouds), coats your palate, great raspberry, blueberry & chocolate tart, nice Asian spice, cinnamon stick, little tight, little charcoal dust, chocolate raspberry cream, very polished, extremely elegant, great tannin structure; WS-93; GV-93

(Antinori Solaia Toscana IGT) Mushroom and earth on nose; yummy, earthy, mushroom and plum palate with good acidity; long finish 94+ pts.
