July 9, 2013 - soft and muted tannins... more new world than classic Toscana ... a good long finish

April 25, 2010 - Definitely needed decanting. Very closed off and harsh upon first opening. After about 60 minutes of opening-up became a very rich and complex wine. Enjoyable, nice on the palate, no harshness. Strong fruit with spice and earth (not jammy).

January 16, 2010 - Solid, full-bodied wine, not showing as much of the oak treatment as it was a year ago and that actually makes for a much more balanced glass of wine. This still reminds me much more of a New World styled wine than a 'traditional' Toscano.
