March 15, 2019 - Just great, really drinking beautifully. Spice, sugar plum, black fruits, wonderful evolved tannins, understated oak, and no alcohol heat. Recommend decant and filter, as fair bit of sediment. Will continue for a few more years

Notes not taken.
Cork excellent, only slight resting on side sediment mark.
Look: Great dark black red color '08.
Nose: Squid ink, some eucaplytus and blueberry and cedar after about 20 mins.
Body: 2.5% milk.
Taste: Black fruits, eucaplytus, blueberry, cedar, some nice tar, slight hanging tobacco.
Finish: About 60 secs.
91 pts. Holding up Very Well. Best with big meaty food.
Drink now or easily cellar another 5 yrs. -

May 21, 2010 - Beautiful older shiraz....probably at peak. Evolves in the glass. Bold, but very easy drinking. Lots of dark fruits, a light fragrance of dusty books in the background, some tar, licorice, eucalyptus. No one flavor dominates. This was a unique and enjoyable Aussie treat.
