This was a stunner, cool climate Cali Cab with unbelievable freshness. Completely different style than Martha's but felt fresher the "celebrity" wine. 98 -

September 13, 2017 - 1974 California Tasting (Cafe Boulud): Slightly better than the Red Rock Terrace. Classic cabernet profile. I did not find the tannins as off-putting as others. This wine will live forever. 1974 Cali Cab tasting

May 4, 2016 - Diamond Creek Rare Wine Dinner (Charlie Palmer Steak): Big fruity nose of red and black berry fruit, currant fruit, and intriguing and complex notes of acrylics and pastels. This is beautiful with damp rustic earth and fully mature fruit. Slow smoldering finish with red cedar. Very good.
