SLIMES Does not like this wine:
August 27, 2018 - From magnum purchased through Lay and Wheeler.
I found this wine to be a bit 'hollowed out'. It didn't have much fruit even though the colour suggested a relatively youthful wine. It was drinkable, but there was a sharp sulphur/bitterness on the end that was off-putting. Unless you get this very cheaply, I'd pass.2 people found this helpful Comments (1) -

September 7, 2013 - Light-medium gold color. Drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. This started off slowly and built through the evening as it warmed. This shows a fair bit of yeast both on the nose and palate, fruit is predominantly citrus/lemon, the palate starts off pretty chalky with minerals and quite tart, but eventually rounds out quite nicely and softens its edges. Medium finish. Started at around 89 and finished a solid 90pts.

September 23, 2012 - Pale gold color. Drank 2 glasses over 45 minutes. Nose has pleasant yeast notes, mineral, lemon and pear. Palate is fairly lithe, tart pear, lemon, minerals, toast. Crisp and clean.
