April 24, 2024 - Peach Farm. Color shows some appropriate age. Just off dry, bursting with fruit and plenty of acidity. Excellent.

Ripe fruit upfront and then tremendous acidity and soil to conclude things. Phenomenal combination of ripeness and underlying structure. This should see its 25th anniversary in fine style.

February 12, 2022 - I was rather nonplussed by this bottle. A nice mix of earth-trimmed dried pineapple and citrus fruit up front, but lacking the follow-though in the midpalate and finish.

October 31, 2021 - Deep golden colour; pronounced aromas of apricots, peach, honey, ginger; full body, high texture, long finish. An outstanding example of austrian riesling. At its peak now. @finewine.explorer

February 3, 2020 - Gold colored. Nose leads with apricot and peach with notes of flowers, melon and tropical fruit. Complex palate with loads of fruit, petrol and plenty of acid structure to end with a light feel and gritty mineral. Great expression of Riesling, nicely mature.

8/5/2008 (link)(STEINERTAL FX Pichler Riesling) FX 2007 Dear Friends, Due to limited quantities - I'm not going to say much here. 2007 is the best vintage in Austria since 1999 and the 2006s at the high must level are among the best ever made. The Unendlich is pretty much the toughest wine to get in Austria and the TBA is not far behind. Only half of the normal amount coming to the US this year (of the 2007s). All are EXTREMELY LIMITED (we have bottles, not cases): 2007 FX Pichler/Krutzler Gruner Veltliner Klostersatz New wine, previously unavailable in the US - could be very interesting especially due to the vintage. Mid-priced Pichler?
