Lush and sweet but not syrupy since it is carried by a deep core of acidity. Just delicious-love that spiciness. No matter that like many Alsatian wines this sweet, the varietal characteristics are blurred. A great dessert wine and one of the best balanced Zind Humbrecht wines I’ve ever drunk. No telling how long it could last.
