  January 2, 2012 - 50ml bottle. Inky garnet-purple. Intoxicating nose of blueberry, mint, sweet oak, and exotic spices. Full bodied, blackberries, black cherries, leather, loads of strong drying tannins, smoke, a bit of heat, and a medium to long finish. Good now, but built for the long haul.

  February 3, 2011 - Incredible finesse on this nose. First whiff and I am in love! Elegant floral notes prevail supported by leather, smoked meat, and minerals. Big firm gripping tannins and nice flavor concentration. Smokey flavors coming through. Nice long luscious finish. Very nice.

  November 11, 2010 - A visit to Luna (Napa): Tart cherries on the nose. This is thin cherry juice. OK to drink but nothing special. $75 should be better.
