March 14, 2024 - Small dinner to try out a new restaurant (Mihan): Hmm - my notes show this is the third i've tried of these, and I get the sense this falls into the middle of the pack. By now a little unfocused, muddy even, but still has that lovely earthy cornas character, and a pleasing acidity that keeps it all in line, if a little rambunctious. A very generous extra offering by RZ, in recognition of our fortitude with the Nebbioli.

December 28, 2022 - Opened boxing day evening. Tightly coiled, some good acidity, some iron filings, but a little muted perhaps. Enjoyed with cheese and dominos. Second night - somewhat fallen to pieces, really not terribly enjoyable. Have a sense this was a slightly weak bottle - perhaps a little air ingress.

September 10, 2022 - Friday Night - dinner with the kids followed by Sandman: Lovely classic cornas. Good acidity, iron filings, a bit of earthiness there but not too much. Bracing rather than thrilling - in the zone now but I think it has a decade or more ahead of it.

September 5, 2019 - Nose was super closed up at first, ran a glass through vinturi and it helped a little. Some pepper and dark fruit on the nose, plate matches, a little one dimensional, good acid. This is a nice drinker but given the price point probably a pass for me. Not over the hill but doubtful for further improvement.
