May 4, 2017 - Wine tasting in Greece; 4/28/2017-5/6/2017 (Athens, Santorini and Porto Heli): This wine seems to be at peak maturity right now, with a lovely balance of mature fruit, softened tannins and integrated oak. Dark garnet colored, fragrant of dark berries, leather and herbs. On the palate this had layered complexity of blackberries and black currants, with leather and and herbal quality, some spice and a lon persistent finish. Really delightful.

February 16, 2011 - Tasted at "Dionysia 2011" wine fair, Athens, Greece. Garnet. The oakiness that I noticed at previous tastings is now signifficantly reduced. Smoke and cherry fruit on the nose. Mid-bodied with soft tannins but the fruit is somewhat weak. High acidity and medium finish. Overpriced.

    November 10, 2009 - Blind-tasted alongside another 10 "ultra-premium Greek reds".
I have to admit that I identified this wine, since it is the most heavily oaked wine I have ever tasted.
Dark purple. Oak that masks everything else. Full-bodied with soft tanins and moderate acidity. Oak dominates in the aftertaste. This wine really smells and tastes of furniture.

October 30, 2008 - A real luxury expression of agiorgitiko.
    Crimson in color.
On the nose hints of cinnamon, oak, sour cherry, currants, licorice, eucalyptus and cedar.
    Full - bodied and opulent.
On the palate layers of red ripe fruits (cherries, currants), Kirsh, nuts, smoke. cedar, leather and cookies.
The aftertaste lasts over 30 sec.
It will improve by the time
