January 21, 2023 - Regular dinner group (@ My place): Mature bouquet with dark berries, sweet licorice, chocolate and vanilla. Same on the palate, well integrated oak, beautiful acidity and powdery, round tannin. Overall a beautiful wine which is at its peak now, but don’t wait too long anymore.

November 19, 2021 - Fruit, but grassy. Not a fan.

September 19, 2020 - Dark purple core, fading at the rim. Opened 45 minutes before serving. Currant and blackberry, soft vanilla notes, spice, decent length to the finish. Extremely smooth. Rarely disappointed by a Napa cab with 15 ish years of age, and this is a good example. The wine did not diminish while it was open. Glad that I drank it now, but I think it has a few solid years left.

February 25, 2016 - Whiff of currants, ripe fruit, earthy spices. First sip was very good, with the same fruit blending with an earthy, spicy mid palate and a ripe, balanced finish. As the wine breathed, the mid palate broke down a bit as the earth component took too much place. Drink now or this year.

June 7, 2013 - Changes over time. Starts smokey and then finishes smooth. Opens over 2 hours and should be decanted.
