Mature bouquet with yellow fruits and a touch of petrol. On the palate nicely dry with soft and fresh, good acidity, some mineral impressions and a touch of bitterness in the finish.

Beautiful and complex bouquet with a slight touch of petrol. On the palate very clean and complex as well with firm and beautiful acidity, mineral impressions and a slight, pleasant touch of sweetness and an enormous length.

In the bouquet fresh apples, some honey and mineral impressions. On the palate very clean and focused, fresh acidity, mineral impressions and delicious, complex juice. Great wine.

Honey and tropical fruits in the bouquet which shows some development. On the palate a slightly sweet start. Round and lush with pineapple and fresh acidity and tropical fruits.

Very special and complex bouquet with flint stone and fireworks, some nutmeg and brown spiced biscuit. On the palate many layers, minerals, oak, juicy acidity and good complexity. Great length.

Expressive and intense bouquet with stone fruits. On the palate dry and focused with good mineral impressions, pineapple, good acidity and a pleasant touch of oak.

Beautiful, mature and complex bouquet, expressive and with a beautiful dose of oak and tropical fruits. On the palate a full bodied wine with tropical fruits, beautiful mineral impressions and a pleasant dose of beautiful oak. Great wine which is at its peak now! Pity it was my last bottle.

Beautiful and complex bouquet, full bodied, lush and luxurious and not showing any serious ageing at all. Tropical fruits, beautiful acidity and a pleasant touch of sweetness. Extremely luxurious and beautiful wine.

Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, licorice and black olives. On the palate red and dark berries, a firm amount of good and fresh acidity, melted tannin with a beautiful and very soft bite. Good length. Beautiful wine at its peak now.

Dark berries, herbs and spices, licorice and some chocolate in the beautiful bouquet. Same on the palate, garrigue, clove, juicy dark berries, beautiful acidity and mild tannin with still a lovely bite. The wine is at its peak now and will probably stay on this level for a few years. I have a few more, so there will be follow ups on the development of this excellent wine.

I uncorked this bottle in the evening before tasting and decanted it 4 hours prior to the tasting. Kept the leftover for the next day at room temperature. The following tasting note is of day 2. Beautiful bouquet with tempting garrigue and Grenache impressions and dark berries. On the palate dark berries, still very primary, beautiful acidity, round tannin, full bodied and with an enormous length. Great wine with a great future.

This is a note about bottle 3775 of 8112 bottles produced. A very special “vin de France” made of Cabernet from Haut Medoc, Grenache from the southern Rhone and some local Counoise. The result is a beautiful and fruity wine with primary dark berries in the bouquet. On the palate youthful dark berries, beautiful acidity, supple and round, powerful tannin and a great length. Delicious and excellent wine with a good future. 94+

In the bouquet dark berries, sweet spices, pleasant vanilla and in fact still surprisingly youthful. On the palate juicy dark berries, good acidity and still round tannin with a beautiful and firm bite. This wine still has a future of several years.

Ruby red. In the bouquet dark berries and vanilla. On the palate red and dark berries like cassis, blackberry and bell pepper, firm acidity and tannin. Quite focused but lacking some finesse, nevertheless certainly an excellent wine.

Mature bouquet with dark berries, sweet licorice, chocolate and vanilla. Same on the palate, well integrated oak, beautiful acidity and powdery, round tannin. Overall a beautiful wine which is at its peak now, but don’t wait too long anymore.

Deep and complex bouquet with dark berries, licorice and sweet spices. On the palate dark berries like blackberries, licorice, black olives, dark chocolate, beautifully integrated oak and cedar, some graphite, beautiful acidity and round tannin. Overall a mouth full of beautiful and complex wine which is still in its young maturity stage. A Feast!

Out of curiosity I put a bottle of this baby in the lineup. Uncorked it the evening before tasting and decanted the next morning. In the bouquet still very primary cassis and other dark berry fruits. On the palate the fruits are supple and juicy with a firm dose of acidity. The tannin is still very youthful, but round and with an ok bite. I will not open my next bottle before 2027 and around 2030 - 2032 it will probably enter its maturity stage. Time will tell. 90 - 92+

Beautiful and luxurious bouquet with dark berries, beautifully dosed oak and vanilla. On the palate juicy dark berries, luxurious well dosed oak and cedar, graphite, good acidity and round tannin with a firm bite. This is a luxurious baby. Wait at least another decade. It will probably enter its maturity stage in the early 2030’s. I have a few, so there will be a follow up on this tasting note. 93 – 95+

Beautiful and luxurious bouquet with dark berries and beautiful oak, cedar and leather as well as licorice and graphite. Same on the palate, juicy and beautifully ripe dark berries, good acidity and round, powerful tannin. Very beautiful wine with a very long future ahead.

In the bouquet dark berries and a lot of sweet impressions and eucalyptus. On the palate a sweet start, ripe dark berry fruits, sweet spices, beautiful acidity. Overall a sexy and lush wine.
