  March 2, 2011 - Darker than US domestic pinot noirs, but doesn't taste dark (or heavy). Red berries, currants & some mineral on the tongue. Does have that "Australian" flavour (whatever that is).

  April 17, 2010 - Violets on the nose, garnet to pale brick color. Bright and lively on the taste, blueberries but with a strong hint of grapefruit which I don't expect in a Pinot Noir.

  April 2, 2009 - Plantagenet, Great Southern, Western Australia - Tasting by Roberts & Speight (Beverley, UK): Deep purple core fades to a cherry red rim. The nose is attractive but primary and showing only notes of mixed red berries. The palate flavours appear somewhat unnatural; almost chemical like in fact and the wine is very lean. The finish is short. £10.49 per bottle.

  January 15, 2009 - Well balanced, hints of coconut, violets and fruit. Quite light and easy drinking. Nice wine.

  October 22, 2008 - Kedington Australian night (Fringe Club, Hong Kong): Hot toasty mushroom nose. Palate is a bit hot which masks the fruit.
