April 24, 2017 - The ripe fruit expected from the vintage, but still easily fresh. Also powerful and rich, showing its Montrachet-esque heritage, even if somewhat less nuanced. Very good power and length.

August 11, 2010 - Dallas 2nd Wednesday Group - August 2010: Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Opened and served immediately. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Soft and delicate nose of yellow pears, minerals and hazlenuts. Flavors of yellow pears, tangy yellow apples, lemon and nutmeg. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink or hold. 91-92.

November 29, 2008 - Burgundy Finale (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): In my opinion this has by far the most interesting, unique, and complex nose of the whites with notes of lemon oil, stones, cinnamon, and pumpkin. The mouthfeel is quite moving with an amazing glossy tone leading into flavors of crushed citrus, pumpkin, and minerals through the long finish. With tons of stuffing and ripe fruit this may seem modern to some but it is unquestionably Burgundian with minerality throughout and the acidity to match the explosive components.

November 15, 2008 - Nice texture and complexity. Was more interesting after being open for a few hours. Nice mineral element and well balanced. An elegant chardonnay.
