May 18, 2019 - Preserved peaches and melons. Butter. Really no acidity left. Had the 95 a few months ago and that aged even better; but this is still all right!

April 28, 2017 - Tasted alongside a 97 and 06 Mt Eden as well as an 02 Kistler Dutton, this was my favorite. Great color, very nice mix of fruit and some secondaries, and a nice finish. Certainly time to drink up, but enjoyable with and without food, and given it is my last bottle it has me hoping the 2012 will do at least this well over time...A-

March 30, 2016 - Fairly deep color, but while mature not tired. Nutty nose, on the palate ripe fruits and lemon curds, good backbone for 20 year old Cali Chard. Craig and Cathleen both got Cali immediately, but people were thinking Stony Hill. Very good and holds up through night. B+

December 16, 2014 - Deep golden color. Aromas of pineapple, mango and light honey with background citrus (without any sharpness) and smoky notes. On the palate, sweetness and balanced bright fruits leave an upbeat impression and smooth finish given subdued acid. After some air time, the wine leaves a lingering nuttiness, hints of vanilla and creme brulee. Paired well with sauteed bay scallops.

November 4, 2013 - Horribly corked. Two hours of air, no improvement. Ruined. Arrrrgh.
