January 2, 2022 - Decanted for a hour. Correct on the nose with leather and plum and spice from the Mourvèdre leading the procession, with some sweet red fruits from the grenache making up the rear. The palate is ripe and concentrated, but not—mind you—over-extracted, with leather, blackberry liqueur, game, and a suspicion of black peppercorn and mint flavors underlain by resolving tannins and decent acidity. There are vestiges of some wood lingering in the background, but hardly distracting and mostly knit at this point. There’s good Rhône-ish/Provençal charm here, even if I wouldn’t peg this a Bandol or a Mourvèdre-heavy southern blend. And while still leanin on the younger side of maturity this should really shine with more bottle aging. Very good and worth looking for more well-stored bottles.

November 16, 2021 - I bought a lot of this when it was released. I was always off put somewhat, because I felt they should have done a better job of degassing. I always shake it and vinovac to pull out some of the gas. Not a bad wine, but I think it is tasting past its prime.

September 25, 2021 - My last bottle of six-pack and possibly the best bottle. Drank with pizza. Elegant dark fruits, licorice, earth. Completely integrated tannin. I believe this is at peak.
