  April 20, 2009 - First night was too hot, overly tannic, with no finish and little consistent taste, even after decanting. Second night opened up quite a bit into a smooth and nice wine, with pleasant tannins. Unfortunately I wouldn't serve this at a party because it took too long to reach that happy finale. Merlot and malbec really showed in finish.

  March 1, 2009 - This is a very nice drink for under $10....big nose and palate full of dark fruit...blk cherry, plum, raisin....impressive long finish...everything is pretty much in order here...drink now....nice!

  February 9, 2009 - Nice easy drinking table wine. Lots of dark fruit, black cherry, raisins. Some sweet cranberry. Some currant. Very mild tannins. Mild aromas of leather and smoke. Some oak.
