  April 26, 2020 - PNP. Some concerning port aromas blew off after about 10 minutes. Settled down into a powerful nose of pipe tobacco, mint, grilled meat, and black fruits. Spicy black plum in the mouth. Chewy and masculine. Still a medium/long tannic finish. Nothing too complex but right for its type. Drink now.

  March 18, 2015 - Dense purple color, robust nose of blackberry and currant. Palate is firm with blue fruit and some tobacco. Fruit has faded and the wine seems a little muddled. I think the best days for this wine are well in the past. Drank very nice upon release. However, even now, the QPR is quite good.

  December 16, 2013 - Yes, it is rich and deep, which is a plus, but on the other hand it is not so complex, it is a bit overcooked and some bitter notes creep in at finish, hence the score.

  February 21, 2012 - Very dark color, medium nose, very rich and concentrated palate with berries and floral notes. Drinking very well right now. UPDATE: This was even better on day 2 with more pronounced bacon fat and white pepper on the palate. Great Cote du Rhone wine!
