    April 28, 2019 - PopnPour, tasted over 1 hr
-nearly opaque dark red no bricking
-mild reduction mostly blows off restrained cool dark fruit
-med acidity lends a sour topnote at the finish, med weight and moderate concentration saline brooding dark fruit and earth, med tannins
-rather muscular for the vintage and appellation with typical Bachelet dark fruit profile, don't expect this to improve though not displaying overt mature elements either

February 2, 2019 - 1.5 hr open only. Wow, what can I say, this has finally entered into the sublime time. Tertiary development, nose of sous bois with minor blakberry notes, opens a bit more with time in the glass to reveal a sweetness you're always looking for to go along with aged burgs. Minor fruit remaining in the black spectrum. This being the last of 6 bottles I've had over the years since 2009. Just a lovely elegant wine with soft yet adequate tannins and acid balance. For rating in the Village category this is very high, upper nineties for sure; I hesitate to rate overall as it's too easily dismissed if I were to rate so highly.

December 29, 2018 - end of life. so out of balance that I doubt it was ever good.

December 10, 2017 - Very enjoyable for a village level burgundy. Agree with other recent reviews- this is drinking well right now.

August 17, 2017 - Blind Tasting Burgundies from Well-Known Producers (The Wolf, Oakland): Restrained? or just short? This is a quieter wine but once you let it sink its teeth in you there's a lot there, from little burrs of cherry and berry fruit to a pleasant greenness. Drink now.
