October 8, 2022 - Brought to King in NYC. Beautiful floral nose, strawberry and earthy undertones. Palate refined but not especially deep, still nicely red fruited. Another lovely 2007.

June 4, 2018 - Blind tasting for my guests. Mature light hue. Superb nose of fruit of the forest, underwoods, and blue ink. Like arioja at this stage. Also lactic notes as an old french new oak. Mouth is smooth, elegant long and silky. A nice experience.

October 29, 2017 - Decanted at home into screwcap bottle. Consumed 4 hours later. Quite lovely and stayed intact in the glass. Nobody guessed 2007. Ready but no hurry.

June 20, 2017 - Post Musique et Vin Festival Concert Dinners (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Small glass, brief note. Red, backward fruit made more challenging by reduction. But good density and probable cellaring potential.

March 25, 2016 - Quatuor inédit en Côte de Beaune - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Tonnellerie Damy - Meursault): Tasting, brief note. From magnum that hadn't been open long. Reductive start made this challenging, but there is fleshy berry flavors with very good concentration. Spice gets past the reduction on finish.
