October 29, 2017 - Not much change since last bottle. I think maybe getting a bit thin. Still nice

November 17, 2016 - Upon initial opening, a pale ruby with very reticent nose and this was a very hollow wine. Nearly no mid-palate presence beyond wetness and a near total absence of fruit. Subsequently decanted for 2 hours. Improved color, now a medium purplish ruby, with a nose of dark cherry, plum, rose petal, leather and earth. Mediocre acidity, intensity and concentration. My wife especially noticed the poor fruit level when compared with the usual Cali and Oregon pinot noir we usually have with salmon. An apples and oranges comparison, I know, but this was quite underwhelming and I don't see this wine improving.

    November 4, 2016 - PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs and day 2
-med dark red, minimal clearing at edge
-red fruit earth stewed tomato stems? a bit of reduction funk and sweet oak
-med acidity, med/med- weight mostly faded fruit bitter earth and noticeable but not intrusive oak, med (wood?) tannins somewhat dried out; sweet oak & tannins overshadow all other elements on day 2
-not sure if the stemmy component is from some whole cluster use or relative lack of ripeness, overall this is pleasant though a little more oak than the grapes could tolerate this vintage as it appears to be nearing maturity slightly out of balance

August 22, 2015 - Nose was a bit soft not giving off much this time.
On the tongue felt a bit thin with a short finish. Maybe just an off bottle. Not gonna rate it by points this time.

June 16, 2013 - Vin riche, concentré, boisé, style clairement viril malgré les tanins veloutés, acidité assez marquée en finale, le tout manque d'un peu d'élégance pour en faire un vin de meilleur niveau!
