June 21, 2014 - Deepish red with just a hint of orange at the rim. Intense sweet fruit aroma, maybe some floral character with a hint of smokey bacon. Hugely rich palate with still lively acid, sweet middle palate but maybe a touch short. Very good and still plenty of life left.

Decanted 1 hr. No sediment.
Fine classic moderate weight New Zealand juice. Deep color, decent body, classic sweet cherry, black cherry, cranberry, and a nice amount of spice and forest floor.
About a 50 second finish.

Big Pin style lovers will enjoy this.
Nice now and can easily go another few yrs. -

November 13, 2012 - Nice mix of fruity, floral, and funky on the nose. Smooth texture on the palate with silky tannins and good balance between alcohol and acid. Drink now through 2014.
