December 28, 2023 - Sadly, this is my last bottle and it is what an aged Barbera should be. Fantasticly balanced and vibrant!

February 27, 2012 - Deep color and very fragrant upon opening. No cough syrup as someone suggested. Very pleasant fruity nose and darker fruit in the backdrop. The first few tastes support the early impressions. A rich, full, multi-layered wine which will be especially good with homemade pizza later. A very pleasant experience. Wish I had more in the cellar.

September 7, 2010 - Took some time to open up, but when it did, the nose showed soft fruit, some dark cherries, and a gamey, mushroominess. Simple flavors that mirror the nose, but there are layers and balance here. After an hour or so in the glass it really began to gain some depth, and with the red sauce in our meal, this was a really great pair. At the the price this is a no brainer to go back for more.
