February 21, 2023 - Lovely developed riesling aromas with peaches, petro and hints of caramel. Soft and agreable in the mouth. Better now than two years ago.

    January 27, 2023 - Medium gold.

Pronounced intensity with aromas of ripe apples, lime, apricots, pineapples, honeysuckle, honeydew melon and some tertiary aromas towards ginger. No petroleum.

Good concentration, medium body, on the sweet end of the spätlese-spectrum, good length. Lacks a little freshness and energy, but all in all an enjoyable semi-mature spätlese.

Nice pairing with a simple Asian spicy wok with basmati rice.

December 9, 2022 - Pop and pour. Notes from 3 days open. On the nose: lemon, soft peach, honey, nettle. On the palate: well-balanced acidity and density; honey, peach, lemon, soft herbs. Very good, but not solid as opposed to compelling.

December 1, 2021 - Showing some amber tinge, but drinking well with pretty good acidity and a long rich finish. Perfect with my butter chicken and basmati rice.

    Vraiment EXTRA!

April 24, 2021 - Beautiful brilliant golden pour. Nose is gasoline, honey, white minerals.

Palate explodes, overripe apricot, burnt honey, focused yuzu and lemon acidity. Sweet but well balanced.

    Drinking extremely well.

October 27, 2019 - Nice but have had better. Too sweet and too pricey!

August 24, 2018 - Talula's Table with a few Berserkers - Late Summer menu: Spice, slight petrol, wax on the nose. Smells nice. Slight sweetness but a good dose off acidity offsets that. Long finish. I enjoyed this one quiet a bit and this was probably my second favorite wine of the night, behind the Molitor Sonnenuhr Auslese.

February 1, 2018 - Bit of golden yellow color, a very nice Riesling nose with just the slightest petrol note; let me say up front that I don't enjoy sweet Riesling much any more, my tastes go to dry, and actually more to Austria. This wine doesn't do anything to dissuade me of that preference. A nice wine, high quality, nice array of flavors with notes of red apple, peach, some underlying salinity (which I crave in a sweet Riesling), subtle note of tartness. Decent acidity, but not the blaze that is really needed to set off the sweet character, leaving the wine a bit flabby overall. It's easy to drink a lot of this fast, but sadly it doesn't say anything profound.
