January 19, 2024 - Oregon Trip-Day 1 (Here and there, Willamette Valley): Decanted for 90 minutes. Dull light red. Nigh onto perfect Gevrey mix of restrained sweet red fruit, wet soil, and light herbal elements. Harmonious, fluid, and beautifully weighted. Outstanding and seductive.

February 10, 2023 - A small gathering at Bryan's (Undisclosed location in McLean, VA): Beautifully mature nose displaying generous red and black fruit, black cherry, strawberry and rhubarb tart, roasted nuts, beef stew, sous bois, dark spices and mineral. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of generous black fruit, rich and full, medium acidity, strong mineral, and a long generous ripe black fruit driven finish with a hint of animal and sour cherry at the end. The sous bois expression has not fully developed. It clearly expresses the generous fruit driven style of the domaine. Drinking beautifully.

April 21, 2022 - A silky, delicious powerhouse of a wine. Lots of spice throughout. Totally seamless and harmonious but this can probably still improve and develop more nuance with cellar time.
