September 28, 2022 - Nose m int, earth, red cherries, pipesmoke, thyme, leather, violets
Palate some woodgrain to go with aforementioned cherries (dried now), hint of walnut, fennel, wet leaves, perhaps fading a bit, m v fine tannin, m+ acidity, ALC not even noticeable for 14. -

February 3, 2018 - I really enjoyed this wine. The nose is black cherry and licorice. Very nice structure and well balanced. Long dry finish. Ready to drink now, but I think it will continue to improve over the next couple of years.

January 18, 2014 - Nose: black cherry nose and a little spice, taste: leather licorice teeny but of Spice, still decent amount of tannins.. Needs more time (maybe 2-3 more years). Berry, spicy, tannic finish
