  February 14, 2021 - 3 cm, Wine opened 30 mins and last for 2+ hrs. This bottle had a much better show than the one 6-7 yrs ago. A touch of tea leaf and mushroom and then turned to chocolate. Amazed the difference between the previous tasting and this time. If with such condition, can last another 2-3 yrs.

  February 6, 2018 - Heart of Clos Vougeot: This is not immediately comparable to the ‘78 or ‘85 as it has a cooler and dustier nose with soft strawberry. Sort of a chocolate milk and concrete characteristic. Certainly intriguing, but a little decrepit and geriatric. On the palate this is a little pruney. Musty. Ex-Domaine bottles tasted with Francois Labet.
